My name is Emilia Konteu and I am an Illustrator for children’s books located in Athens, Greece.

Drawing has always been my favorite hobby along with playing the piano and watching animation movies.

By illustrating pictures, I am creating my very own magical world. As I read the lines of a story, a whole new world unfolds between my very own eyes and it’s up to me to give it life. Imagination, colors and love are my tools for this task. It’s a process in which one writer’s thoughts combines with mine and after many hours of work and a lot of sketches, an illustrated book is been created.

Every time I read a new story, I have the same excitement like the first time I drew a picture for a story.

I studied comics and illustration arts in AKTO School of Art and I have a BA on Arts.
